Review + Giveaway: Little Boy Bow Tie (CLOSED)

Bow tie: c/o Little Trendsetters, Shirt: Old Navy; Pants: H&M; Shoes: Saltwaters

I kind of have a thing for little boys in bow ties.  (My husband also has a thing for adult bow ties, but that's another story.)  Kristy over at Little Trendsetters makes some seriously adorable ones and was so sweet to send one my way.

I LOVE the print on this one, and it's very well made.   I also love that the velcro strap on the back is super wide - it makes it really adjustable.  I was worried that the bigger size would be too loose on my rarely-been-on-the-weight-charts 21 month old, but I got it to fit just fine.

GIVEAWAY!
And guess what?  It's your lucky day.  Because Kristy is giving one away to a reader, too!  Same style, your choice of size (newborn-2T or 2T-5T).  Here are the requirements:
  • Follow lace, etc. on GFC, Google Reader, via email, etc.
  • Leave a comment and tell me your favorite kid's clothing style (make sure that when you comment your profile is linked to your email or that your email is in the comment...but really just make sure your profile is linked to your email)
Giveaway ends Wednesday, August 1st at 11:59pm EDT.  (Giveaway Closed.  See the winner here!)

And seriously - can you get enough of this kid?

  1. I CANNOT get enough of that little one :) How darling do our little and grown up boys look in bow ties? I've bought my man a few...I just think they are so classy and chic!

    Would love to win...following you.

  2. Oh...and my fav kids' clothing style...I really like to do a sort of vintage or preppy look. I don't like putting little ones in super trendy versions of adult clothing. I'm all for ruffles and bow ties and seersucker and lace!

  3. Oh man! I tried to figure out how to follow you via email but I couldn't get it to work...anyway, I'm not in the running for the prize and that's ok. You know I just have to say that I DIE for baby boys in bow ties. I think you already knew that. My almost 2 year old already waits patiently for me to tie his bow tie every week before church (yes he has multiples and yes they are fully old-fashioned tie-able). I think "his" style is somewhere between preppy J.Crew kids and hipster H&M baby with lots of crazy stipulations by me (e.g. No monkeys, no logos, no numbers, no cartoon characters, etc etc)

  4. Hi Preethi! I didn't even know you had a new blog. I'm glad I can start following you now! I totally love little boys to look preppy. I love dressing mine in polos, jeans, hats, loafers, etc. This bow tie is right up my alley. I agree with Maren about no logos, cartoon characters, cheesy sayings, etc.

  5. LOVE that bow tie!! I just got Collin one for Father's Day and wished I could have gotten some matching ones for the boys. I wish I could say that I had a particular style for my boys, but most days I'm just lucky to achieve the no-stains look. Oh, and whatever will NOT cause a riot when getting them dressed in the morning, which basically rules out anything I would deem as cute - it's all about vehicles and easy on/off for toileting. Boring, but functional.

  6. Oh my gosh he is so cute! :) I love the preppy baby boy look, and I actually have a pair of suspenders for T in that very print. :) Sounds meant to be.

Side note: I just weighed T this morning and he's at 21 lbs, so I think he may have just passed up Nat! (But, admittedly, it was also after the World's Hugest Bowl of Oatmeal that he couldn't get enough of.)

Oh, and now I'm following you on Google Reader. :)

  7. I'm a follower, of course :)

I am definitely a fan of the preppy look. Having my little monster in a collared shirt and a vest is just about my favorite look, ever. And I can't get enough of him in a little tie, either.

  8. Nat is going to break so many hearts in about 15 years! What a sweetie pie.

I would love to win the bow-tie. I like dressing my boys in prep.

  9. Maybe someday I'll get to dress a little boy...but I have a nephew this would be perfect for!

  10. Nat sure is good-looking!
Our boys are pretty casual through the week (even muscle tees so they can be "Jersey Strong"), but come Sunday, they are much more "Princeton" than "Jersey." Steve's favorite dapper look is matching seer sucker outfits on both boys.

  11. I follow, and we happen to be having a little boy this month! I thought that little boy clothes weren't that different, but as I've been getting a few things together for our little man, I've come to realize that I definitely don't love the little boy clothes that consist of nothing but skulls and camo. I do, however, adore little boy suits, and some of the tiny little puppies that adorn his future sleepwear. I'm guessing things will evolve as we actually get to know him.

  14. Another available treatment option that can be done at home without a
prescription is a topical ointment. Do this method up to four times a day until the skin tag falls
off. The brown-slatted background in the image above really
isn't part of the technique I was trying to demonstrate here.

  16. When you have both skin tags as well as warts on your
body, you can use the skin tag removal products that
will also help you to remove the skin warts. Fortunately, there are a variety
of skin tag removal treatments you can use.
Females and males have the same chance of developing them.

  17. I see a lot of guys ask how to put on weight but at the same time are missing the most obvious step - they aren't eating enough. A meal plan can be very detailed and it can be tied to eating great things like fish and nuts to eat. So if you are also struggling from the same problem then there are some useful tips for healthy weight gain and to put on some extra pounds on your body so as to help you to look a lot better.
