Gingham shirt: Old Navy; Red shirt/pants/necklace: F21; Leopard shoes: Target

Here's a little pregnancy flashback.  Janssen had inspired me with this adorable board.  I loved the gingham paired with the leopard and the bright colors, but I decided to invert it a little since it was still too hot for a cardigan.

I ended up loving the look of the open button-down; it has the same streamlining and lengthening effect of a long cardi or vest, but with a little less bulk.  I also summerized it a little more with some brighter tones and a more casual necklace and loved how it turned out.  So thanks, Janssen!

(I spy...a shoe switch.  We walked all around the zoo that morning, so the Saltwaters were definitely needed for comfort.)

Oh, and today was fortuitously an animal print link-up at Marionberry Style!

  4. It seriously blows my mind that you could wear SKINNY JEANS while pregnant. I was so massively swollen by the end, there's no way I could have jammed my elephant legs into anything remotely snug like that. But you look adorable--you make a very cute pregnant mom :-)
