This weekend, we went camping at Cunningham Falls State Park, and it was delightful. There was definitely not as much water as in that picture, but there was a lovely (and short) walk to a little falls and Nat was a little obsessed ("hike to waterfall?" about a million times over). We cooked delicious food and made s'mores (of which Nat took one bite and decided he was done...after eating 2 full chickpea burgers...who is this child?) and read books. I didn't even need to stumble my bleary-eyed way to the bathroom in the middle of the night (although Dan did...this amuses me far more than it should)!
The weather was also gorgeous - it's finally cooling off here and yesterday, it actually felt like fall. I was maybe a little bit giddy and when we were driving up on Friday, perhaps reached over and grabbed Dan's (still not-entirely-healed) wrist excitedly and without thinking in remembrance of TJ's soon-to-arrive spiced apple cider...oops. But still. Seriously excited.
I, of course, had to wear a somewhat fallish outfit yesterday, so I broke out the mustard cardi and threw it together with a summery skirt. Have I mentioned how much I adore this time of year?
PS - Feel free to still give me some outfit inspiration over here. I need it.
PPS - Stay tuned for a baby giveaway tomorrow!
